I have always been very particular about the use of words. I have also always wanted to know what words really mean. Why? Simply because understanding the true meaning of a word can absolutely change your life! One example of this is the word ‘salvation’. For the longest time I have always heard this word used in just one way. As meaning: “saved from hell and now on my way to heaven!” That was good news, of course, but… what an enrichment when I learned some years ago that the word salvation also means: healed (no more sickness), delivered (no more bondage), prospered (no more lack), whole (no more unfulfillment) and protected (no more fear)… Knowing this truth absolutely changed my life and brought new dept into my understanding that Jesus did not just come so that one day I will be brought into heaven with Him, but He also came to eradicate all sickness, bondage, lack and fear from my life, right here and now. Yes, He came to save me and in doing so He gave me the ability to once again be the person God created me to be, loosed from all the heaviness and burden I once carried. Now that to me is GOOD NEWS! I encourage you to take some time and listen to this short message where I share about this beautiful word called ‘salvation’!
