How To Do Simple ‘Word-Focus’ Meditation

Do you sometimes experience a lack of depth in your Bible reading? Does the Word of God sometimes seem void of meaning or are you having a hard time making God’s Word real to you? God has given us a tool called meditation to help us ponder and dwell on His Word. Meditation helps in making the Word of God become a part of who we are so that we can actually begin living it out in our daily life. I would like to aquaint you with a form of meditation I call: Word-Focus Meditation. In this way of meditating you focus on each Word from a passage of scripture separately and allow the true meaning of it to be revealed to you. It is a great way to deepen your prayer life and your quiet times with God.
