Why does Jesus not seem to be enough for us these days? It’s always “Jesus, Yeah, but…”. As long as we keep living lives of “Jesus, Yeah, but…”: our life with Jesus is just not going to work. We must decide that Jesus has to be an ABSOLUTE in our life.
When we’re going through stuff in life and we are having hard times… When things don’t seem to be working out we need to stop and analyze what is really going on. You will then notice that we have all these other alternatives that we seem to be using, trying out and putting before that which God says to be true in His Word. As long as we have other ways than God of doing things, life is just not going to work for us the way God intended it to.
We have been given EVERYTHING in God to make our lives work in this world. We have been given everything to be a light and a testimony to the world, yet many of us Christians are struggling through life in such a way that when the world looks at us, it is almost a joke!
We need to begin taking Christ as the Absolute that He is. We need to begin looking and seeing Christ as the Absolute Rock in our life. That is the only way that His promises will become true in for us and we are going to see the result of it in our lives.
So, stop seeing Jesus as one of your MANY ALTERNATIVES that you have to choose from in life when you’re going through stuff. Realize that He IS the Absolute Answer to anything that You’re facing. Take His promises as Absolute and don’t put anything else as a “Yeah, but…” and make the Word of God powerless.
It is time that we, as Children of God, begin standing up and showing that Christ IS the Rock, He IS the Anchor, He IS the Answer and He is not a liar! And the only way that we can do this is when we begin putting Christ first in our lives and seeing Him as Absolute!
